A Few Words from our President

January 6, 2020

 Good evening Longhorn members,

I am honored to be your President and I look forward to meeting many more of you in 2020.  I could not be more excited for our future because of your commitment, passion and true dedication as members.  In 2020, we will further define who we are as the Longhorn Region and what we can do as a team with the goal of becoming the best, most exciting and engaging PCA club around.

I believe and know the PCA is an industry leader, with an exceptionally dedicated and loyal group of members with a long history. I for one am proud to be associated with them. For us and me, I am personally committed to driving a fun and family oriented group along with a charity driven and relationship oriented club. I believe the key to our success is gaining ideas from all and unlocking the ability to see change for what it is.

I know we have tremendous future growth potential through enhancing membership experience, strengthening our relationship with vendors and maximizing the value for our members and their families. I could go on but would run out of room and things to surprise you all with. I truly wanted to reach out to everyone and say a few short words.

One thing I would like to do is thank Mikel Matthews for the tremendous leadership he brought to our club over the past few years. His dedication and discipline drove significant progress and as a result of his hard work our club has a stronger foundation from which I am able to take advantage of.

Lastly a little about me, I have a wife and a one year old son and a five year old daughter. I am a Military Veteran and I have had a few Porsche to say the least in the past few years. Right now I have a Lava Orange GT3RS and hope to add the 718 Spyder to my list as well.  I love car shows and as a family we sponsor a tent at the local Cars and Coffee. "Cars and Kids." I have attended the Porsche Parade the past few years and intend on attending this year as well. I try to give back to the community the best I can and believe in donating to charity as much as I can.

Thank you all and look forward to see you again soon,

Dennis J Halmai
